Thanks to advanced vehicle tracking technology from Guidepoint Systems, a global leader in vehicle telematics solutions, the theft of a Porsche reported to York Regional Police (Ontario, Canada) was recovered in record time. Guidepoint’s Vehicle Recovery Call Center worked with police to track the stolen vehicle. As the chase reached high speeds, line of sight pursuit became difficult and dangerous, so the decision was made to launch helicopter air support.  Peel Regional Police joined the pursuit and apprehended the suspects and recovered the vehicle in under three hours.
